A life mantra of which more people should take more notice.
It is pretty simple really, just be nice, it shouldn’t take too much explaining.
But it’s funny how it often does.
You’d think the heaven above crowd would get it. Love thy neighbour and all that.
The 72 virgins when you die bunch (Tell me again what the women get for leading a good life?) well, they believe loving others as you love yourself, and being kind and charitable to all, including neighbours regardless of their faith. So, they don’t just blow shit up, who knew?
The cow lovers believe in karma, practically invented it, so it should come easy to them.
The Jews believe What is hateful to you, do not do to your neighbour.
Then we have compassion for all beings, we have emphasis on non-violence and compassion for all living things, we have love thy neighbour in so many variations with many of the spiritual types.
Then there are golden tablets and special glasses and space aliens and the great pumpkin, Jediism, Pastafarianism, everything you can mention in which we believe, and one day we might even ask the 10 people involved what they think?
What about those guys who don’t believe in any of that crap? Well, they have The Golden Rule, so you’d think they were good too.
And the don’t step on a bug lot, well, it’s their mantra after all, so they should be good to go.
So? If we have all these people professing all this spirituality, why are there so many cunts in the world, I ask you?
